Port Dickson

View from room

Very last minute, we decided to go for a family holiday.

It’s quite hard to decide between Avillion and Legend Water Chalets. But finally decided to try for LWC due to the triangle bathtub :p and bathroom was at the front instead of the back. So we just give it a try.

Overall, we rated only 3-stars and not 4-star as posted by them. It’s only the room that get thumbs up but not the rest and not even the amenities. It’s not worth of what we are paying. As there’s only the highest category of chalet available which Premium Water Chalet.

I would say the Reservation team did a great job as their respond time was within 45 minutes compare to Avillion which took them 1 day to respond. Guess they are not hoping for guests even they still have plenty of rooms available.

It was quite disappointing upon checking-in, Front liner never pay attention to guest requests and they never bother to repeat what the are paying for. Like they should at least explain what they have put inside the keycard holder ie breakfast inclusive, location etc etc. They just get you the room printed everything and put inside the holder, get money, give receipt and don’t even bother to wish ‘have a good stay’

Next is the bellboy, Haylee was pulling the trolley luggage, so the bellboy was ‘kind enough’ to take our luggage while we are checking-in and Haylee was complaining ‘nene (indian) took my bag’ :p and she keep complaining and watching over our luggage. After obtaining the room, the bellboy should have wait and take us to the room using buggy but we are stranded there and wandering around looking for someone and yet no one. huh – horrible check-in experience.

Next the amenities, I feel it’s not sufficient for giving only 1 toothbrush, shower cap, 1 cotton bud, 1 razor. I mean these are hygienic matter. The room was sold for 2 adults so there should 2 sets of all amenities available but not to mention there’s no lotion available for a beach hotel gosh.

In the guest directory, it’s stated call Housekeeping for baby care amenities. It was indeed impressive. And again it’s a disappointment. Housekeeping said there’s no such amenities available. Ah forget it – I’m not going to question them.

We feel that we are paying for the room and everything else are shared with other room categories which I feel it’s not quite fair even the room we paid for are not what we are expecting.

Now talked bout the only small eatery place – Coffee House which is located opposite the Lobby next to the pool. Since we are arriving quite late so we decided to have dinner in the Hotel. It’s another disappointment. No quality and quantity (varieties). Anyway we just need to fill-up our stomach and back to our room.

The next morning we head to our breakfast. It was so crowded and pack as there weren’t enough seating place to cater for all in-house guest until there’s seating arrangement at the lobby and near the pool. Anyway even they have such huge space, they are unable to replenish the small breakfast buffet line which is very very basic. They can’t even replenish the coffee/tea/milk/cutleries. I just love the children ware cutletries :p

Not forgetting to mention that there are NO BEACH available in LWC. You have to walk to the other side of sharing beach with Glory Hotel. Like I’m a lazy walker so we just stuck at the pool or inside the bathtub.

BTW there are a mini rabbit farm with 3 rabbits inside fencing next to children playground. Those poor filthy rabbit have no food/no drinks and it’s filled with feces.

I will recommend (not highly) to other but are advised not to pay so much for the package. Just choose the cheapest and lowest category will do. As it makes no difference between lowest and category of chalets.

Sleeping beauty

This morning around 5am I heard bump sound next to me so I woke up and I couldn’t see Haylee next to me but she was on the floor lying on her chest with her hand pressing on the floor. phew………

So I don’t think she broke anything or hurt coz she continue to dream on when I put her next to us instead of her cot.

Routine check up

Today is Haylee half yearly routine check up at HUKM.

As usual she has to go for ultrascan. Each time doing ultra scan she will cry until sky high but this time worst; cried until she phobia seeing even the bed :p

The 1st scan shows her bladder too full so need to clear it. Nowadays ever since she’s diaper in day time, she will informed us as and when she need to pee pee. But when we go outing, I will still put her on diaper (just in-case) and to my surprise she will not pee on the diaper. Amazed with kids.

Anyway the scan still show no improvement and have to go back in another 6 months time.

i-city

The first moment I saw the lighten trees from the highway, I am amazed with the colourful bright lights.

It’s not that hard to reach i-city @ Shah Alam (almost reaching Klang) as there’s sufficient big (highway) signboard to lead you there and when u are about to reach there, just follow the crowd or lights.

Entrance cost RM10 per car and it can be rebated when you dine at any outlet. So it’s kind of free :p

Nice ambience but too bad it is raining in the afternoon so its wet, muddy and slippery too.

When we are about to leave, there’s still a lot visitor entering.

Here are some of the colourful light photos.
